This article contains some tips on what to look for when buying Realmverse assets from secondary markets. There are two main core assets of Realm
Adventurers: https://app.treasure.lol/collection/aov
Realms: https://app.treasure.lol/collection/realm
One question that new players often have is weather it's best to start with a Realm or an Adventurer of the Void.
To make a long story short, most people reccomend starting with an AoV, as they are easier to get started with.
Adventurers: Earn $ANIMA and LootBoxes by performing daily activities such as Battle and Missions. Read more about them
here.
Realms: Power the Realmverse by producing the structures needed to power the game. Read more about them
here.
Both are very fun, but some find realming a bit more complex in terms of strategy. Some have observed that to get ahead with Realms, you will likely need multiple to be self sufficient with collectible production, so cost of entry is something to consider here.
When looking to buy an Adventurer off secondary, there are a few main factors to consider.
- Transcdence Level: This is the #1 thing people consider when looking at an Adventurer.
- Transcendence is said to be the ultimate goal of the Adventurer
- Higher Levels give higher $ANIMA rewards, access to rarer LootBoxes, the ability to go on more unique missions, equip rarer peripherals etc.
- Transcdence has a fixed cooldown peroid, meaning there are no shortcuts to higher levels.
- Skill Traits: Adventurers with higher skill traits are more powerful in battle, and may have access to special missions, peripherals etc.
- Variant: The variant is the artwork of the Adventurer
- Some variants are limited edition which can only be earned via gameplay, contests, etc.
- Days Until Transcend: A lower value here is desirable because the Adventurer can be levelled up sooner, resulting in higher rewards and more unlocked activities.
There are several things to consider when buying a Realm off of secondary.
- Geo Types: Geo types determine what kind of collectibles a Realm can produce.
- Realms with three unique Geo Classes can produce the most diverse amount of collectibles
- Realms with Exotic Geo Types (Volcano/Tundra/Ocean/Valley) are the only Realms that can produce Exotic Collectibles.
- Resource Scores: Currently the "Total Resouce" trait serves as a multiplier for the amount of $PARTICLE earned from exploration.
- Higher Total Resource score = higher $PARTICLE yield from Exploring
- Individual resource scores (Ancient Artifacts/Mineral Deposit/Aquatic Resouces/Land Abundance) have been hinted to be important in future game loops.
- Staked Structures: Realms may have structures staked on them, such as Ancient Particle Reactors or Cities. These structures have utility and provide additional value to the Realm. You can check out their value on Treasure Marketplace to help price a Realm.
- Days Until Terraform: Realms with 0 days until Terraform can be seen as desirable because the owner can change one of the Geo Traits
- This can be useful if a Realm does not have 3 unique Geo Classes to have a chance at better collectible production diversity
- There is also a 1/16 chance of rolling an Exotic trait on the Realm, making it more desirable
